For those of you who are going on our Sept French driving trip thanks for doing all the booking recently and full instruction packs will come out very soon now. We are a group of 14 confirmed.
Two other dates for your diary as alternatives or additions that may interest.
September 20/21st
I have completed another race last weekend at Donington intact and my next event will be three races over one weekend at the Silverstone GP circuit. It's also Britcar 1000km that same weekend which means we race on the Friday twice and then again on the Sat morning before the main event so there will be a big crowd there. If you are interested in watching and supporting please let me know. Tickets are on line although I will have a few available also to hand out. It's the circuit that I know best which is good but it's the highest standard of racing at Porsche Club UK Championship level and as a competitor in the invitation class I have to run on track tyres not slicks, so with the best will in the world I won't be that quick unless it rains then we are all on the same tyres! Excuses in early please note…the sign of a potential race driver! I can however sense a last place looming!! Survival will however mean an upgrade to my National A grade race licence so not failure in any sense for my first season. This will also be my last race weekend of the 2013 season.
October 5th and 6th
There is a Goodwood Breakfast meet on Sunday the 6th and a group of us plan to drive down on the Saturday afternoon and stay nearby enjoying a nice dinner beforehand. Anybody interested in that please let me know so we can think about location/hotel.
