Goodwood Festival of Speed

Just back from a long 15 hour day at Goodwood but was amazing so well worth it.

I had the chance to be a passenger in a 1912 Sunbeam race car as the running mechanic going up the hill this morning which meant pumping the fuel, hanging on and being able to watch the many spectators as opposed to just being one.

We had Sterling Moss in a car in our group, a ten million pound Ferrari SWB 259 GTO behind us, Jochen Mass in our group too.

Then being with the drivers I had access to the changing rooms where Jenson Button, Derek Bell, Jackie Stewart and loads of other famous drivers like Ken Block were getting ready or just chatting. Very rare and privileged.

Best cars today were for me the new 991 with aerokit in yellow, looks amazing and the 458 spider, just gorgeous.
