Silverstone Classic, the final reminder on Harpenden Classics and our inaugural track day in September

Was really impressed re the Silverstone Classic event this weekend such that we stayed over 12 hours at the venue finishing with grandstand seats watching the Group C cars as dusk fell, almost Le Mans like feeling. Plenty of Porsche's in the club GB area but mine was noticeably lonely as the only Turbo S there. Even managed a few purchases including some nice luggage, a nice new tax disc holder from Club GB in black aluminium and a new balaclava for inside the track day helmet. Lovely drive back in the evening on clear roads letting the car stretch its legs a bit.

Just 48 hours or less now til the Cars on the Common show, I collect the 458 tomorrow for a few days of fun. Hope to see some of you there and you must come and see this car, its a superb machine.

I have narrowed down the possibility of a private hire of the new circuit called Blyton Park. Please check it out on the internet. Its ideal for beginners with loads of run off area too. We can hire it exclusively for between £250 incl VAT and £350 incl VAT a day per head to take you own car around, depending on how many cars come along. (20 cars means the lower end of the price scale which should be possible) I shall be trying hard to get this to be our inaugural Property Petrol Heads track day so watch this space for more details and help make it a big success. I am thinking an early weekend in September perhaps?
