Recent activity

After a great trip to Laon recently, the car season has started in earnest.

Local car festivals with Cars on Harpenden Common on the last Wednesday of the month next are abound, Lewis made up for the disaster and poor judgement of Saturday Q3 and won the British GP which I am sure we all loved and my own race car now has a custom fit race exhaust which freed up 10% more BHP before a remap, so we are hoping for 260/270 bhp from 220 bhp before our next race.

Talking of which, the next race is at the coastal circuit of Anglesey in August, a new track to me so some reading up and video practice is needed beforehand. Keen to extend this for a Welsh weekender if anyone interested. Then its Donington and Snetterton for the second time and season closure. Already I am contemplating 2015 and currently think I might go to the next level and do the full Porsche Club series on slicks/wets which this year has had every round on TV. A great sponsor opportunity too.

The little red car is now a year old, 5500 miles under its belt and aside from its stone chips like new still and heading for its first free service and the German one catching that mileage quickly and will overtake this post our summer hols. They are proving to be a perfect combination of cars.

So what next for our group?
