We have a full track event at Silverstone on Monday 12th with rented race cars, instruction and fast laps available, in our selection of own race cars so looking forward to that. Its on the full GP circuit too and we have four PPH Racing garages together for the cars, watch out for a few nice road cars too including Aventador, 458 and Scuderia, Aston and others looking on in envy. They won't be going out that day on track!
I managed to pick up second in class at the Porsche Speed championship at Goodwood last Saturday and now have my first trophy since getting my race licence. My race at Donington is a few weeks away with the CSSC and I have just done my entry forms for the Porsche Club races at Silverstone in Sept. Completing these should allow me to get my grade A licence.
Last Sunday we were very lucky to be part of the Wilton House Supercar event driving in the actual parade. Check it out on line via YouTube there were some amazing cars there. The convoy of 200 cars came out from London and we caught up with them near Swindon for a Vmax session on the runway at RAF Wroughton before a drive across country near Salisbury to the event itself.
Just days before we were at Harpenden Common for a car show with the new toy straight off the delivery lorry, its a very popular event and one to see each year for sure.
This weekend we have a run out to Waddesdon planned with the owners club, hoping for dry weather but lets see.
The plans for our couples weekend are nearly complete and we have an amazing 8 cars signed up making it a group of 16 people with routes, hotels and events to book very soon. A great mix of three Ferraris, Aston, Jag, Audi spyder, and 997 Porsches. It will look great driving on convoy.
With the holiday season still live I will leave it another month before we try our next social but please watch out for that on this website or via your e mails as you have subscribed anyway.
