Calendar and first social night of 2013

First of all thank you for a number of new member requests, especially about the calendar.

We continue to have problems getting this to work via this software so I am planning to move it more to the Facebook page to be interactive and just communicate it through the blogs for now. Facebook page is simply propertypetrolheads so please look it up an LIKE it.

What I can say is that I expect to be present or participate in the following events at the very least.

2nd May will be our first PPH and friends drinks nite in a hotel in town, please e mail me direct if you can make the date and I will send venue details. For those who know me well, its the cool new hotel we have invested in near a main line station in London.

6th May is my first race in the Porsche 968 at Brands on the bank holiday. Don't be expecting any podium challenges though from me, plan is to survive intact and if that is last then its last! Its a great venue to watch the action from though.

4th June is a track day at the Silverstone circuit, its likely to be a co sponsor day too but if you want to bring your own car and sign up let me know

15th June is Petrolheads Nirvana Dads Day out at the Top Gear track. A few people are taking their cars there, so come along

Goodwood Festival of Speed and the GP I can't personally attend this year regrettably.

28th July is the Silverstone Classic weekend and on the Sunday, being the 50th year of the 911, there will be a record attempt to get 911 x 911 cars on track so quite a sight.

31st July is Harpenden Cars on Common car show with 1000 plus cars, I will have a display car that night.

4th August is my first Porsche Club race at Goodwood, its also Wilton House Sunday for the top supercars in the UK

12th August second track day and sponsors day at Silverstone on the full GP circuit, please being your own car along and join us to make it the big event of the year.

25th August is my second CSSC race this time at Donington.

20th and 21st is the Porsche invitation race over two days at Silverstone that I will enter.

27/29th Sept is the Europe couples weekend, we have six couples and of course supercars signed up for that already, venue and tour details to be worked out. Last year it was the WW1 battlefields, the year before was the champagne region.

6th October is Supercar Sunday at Goodwood

So plenty going on and hope you can participate in at least one event this year.

I am also looking for more sponsorship for the race car so if you have any ideas they are all welcome.
