Calendar activities for 2015 (so far)

The year has started off positively focussed on planning activity and attending the Autosport Show which was a great way to remind us all why we love cars/racing and petrol sponsored activity so much.

After a great year end testing the Aston V12, Hurracan, 650s and 991 GT3 it's getting through the next few months before the weather improves that is now the frustration before it's really worth getting the sports car out.

In the meantime winter tyres are now on the Cayenne, actually hoping for cold/ice/snow etc!

That said the first track day is now in the diary on the Silverstone GP circuit via Goldtrack, three of you so far are coming with us and the Porsche Specialist RPM from Tring will also be there. This is on Sunday 1st Feb, discounts are there for access if you want to join us, it's then only £259 for the whole day each. Also if you fancy a few laps as passenger then please come along and say hello.

Racing with the 968 is now fully defined and the races I will do are as follows:

Sat April 11th Snetterton
Sun May 10th Silverstone
Sun May 31st Brands
Sunday July 12th Rockingham
Sunday Sept 6th Donington
Saturday Sept 12th Silverstone
Sat/Sun Oct 31st Night race at Brands

We have a possible track day at Rockingham on Tuesday 12th May, subject to interest.

We also hope to go to the Mille Miglia between 14-17 May.

A UK weekend away (one night) on 23rd May is being planned.

I might take my car to Dads Day out where supercars are available via their owners to drive paying customers to have a few laps of the Top Gear track, that is Sunday 21st June, all money raised goes to charity.

We have Goodwood FOS and I plan to go on the Sunday 28th June, anyone else fancy that?

We have Harpenden Cars on the Common on Wed 22nd July and I will be there with FOC.

We have the Herts Ferrari day at Berkhamsted School on 23rd August with Ferrari Herts Group.

Our French trip on 18-20th September and 7 cars already interested in attending that.

So plenty already and always open to more ideas.

I hope to get an evening arranged in London in Feb where we can catch up over a beer.

As always drop me an email or post on this new blog site, by the way hopefully the refresh design was helpful.

David
